THE PEOPLE
ROB TRIGG Owner Rob started out of University with a degree in surface pattern design, he quickly found a job in screen-printing and has spent the last 20 years gaining knowledge and experience within the industry. Since setting visibleart up in 2003 Rob was also one of the founding members of the PrintHaus a print workshop dedicated to training and art-based outcomes. Will – buy donuts for everyone! Won’t – Share gloves with anyone!
TOM WHITEHEAD
Production Manager Tom left university with a degree in Graphic Communication not knowing what to do. Thanks to a bit of luck he found his vocation in screen-printing. Tom runs a small Cardiff based t-shirt company Ed & Flo as well as being a partner in The PrintHaus. tom@edandflo.com Will – Make tea if he has too! Won’t – Share his bacon sandwich
JUDE LAU
Senior Printer Jude is a fine art printmaker and the other founding member of the PrintHaus workshops. Her time is split between operating the automatic carousels and organising the print workshop sessions. jude@theprinthaus.org Will – Always have a cheery smile Won’t – Suffer fools gladly
JASON PINDER
Printer Jason joined us after graduating from Fine Art Sculpture. SHAUN JAMES
Printer Shaun is still studying and shares his time with an MA in fine art printmaking, Shandy as he’s affectionately known is the tortoise to Jason’s hare! Keep an eye out for Shaun’s work in shows around Cardiff. Will – Go for it! Won’t – Make a decent cup of Tea!
TOM KITCHEN
Art worker Tom is also a graduate of fine art printmaking, It quickly came apparent that Tom had a gift for computers and so he moved over to Art working where he has made it his own. ROB HILTON
Manual Screen printer and Screen prep maestro Rob joined us having gained experience screen printing in America, Rob a graduate of theatre an active performance artist and certainly the most vocal member of the team. Will – Be the first at the washing up Won’t – Share his special sweet stash!
SHANE PATTERSON Newest member of the team Shane is an aerosol artist from Penarth, an active painter at the Boiler House and that’s pretty much all we know! Will – Settle in quickly Won’t – realise how cold it gets here in winter! |
