Here at Visible Art we have over 2 decades of experience in textile screen printing. This covers t-shirt printing, Hoodies, High-visabilty vests, large format printing and promotional clothing. We can offer anything from small print runs of 10 t-shirts or more up to 1000+, so weather your a local band looking to get t-shirts printed or you need a large commercial run, check out our prices or feel free to contact us for a quote.

In addition to this we also offer optional services such as relabelling, swing tags and bagging to fully customise your branded t-shirt.
The majority of the staff here at Visible Art are graphic design and fine art graduates from Cardiff and Wales, we like to take the same standers and attention to detail we we're taught as artists and apply them to commercial t-shirt printing. View the about us section if you'd like to know more.

We pride our selves on being as environmentally friendly as possible within the commercial printing industry. We use phthalate-free ink as standard for the majority of our print jobs.
Phthalate refers to a range of chemicals called phthalate esters, which are used in industrial contexts to increase the flexibility of plastics such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Phthalate is used in a variety of products other than plastics, such as personal care products, glues, paints, and pharmaceuticals. There are dozens of varieties of phthalate, which was first produced in the 1920s. They are made by reacting a chemical called phthalic anhydride with certain alcohols, which can be varied to give the end product specific characteristics.
Phthalate is use specifically in the printing industry to add elasticity to textile ink so it can stretch along with the t-shirt. However it is know to be cancerogenic, especially to infants, it is because of this Phthalates are banned in some European countries, we suspect it will eventually be banned within the textile and printing industry in the UK.
At Visible Art we follow the German and Italian health and safety standards set within the textile and screen printing industry when choosing our ink. Focusing on the highest possible print quality while retaining a safe and environmentally friendly product. We are currently working towards using PVC free and Phthalate free ink as standard for our print work. The benefit of PVC free ink is that is it biodegradable and will degrade as the same rate as a natural cotton t-shirt. At the moment PCV free ink is something we can offer on request but is not currently cost effective enough to be used for all standard print work.
As well as this, we offer formaldehyde-free water based ink. This is our most environmentally friendly printing option. Formaldehyde is a form of bleach also used in hair-dye, within the textile printing industry it is used in water based ink to bleach the design onto the t-shirt or other garment to achieve bright colours on dark t-shirts. The ink we source is able to produce outstanding quality with out the addition of harsh bleaching chemicals. To compliment this we also offer a wide range fair trade t-shirts and other garments.
