VisibleART LLP in Cardiff powers its workshop with solar energy, achieving full electricity coverage in the summer and significant offsets year-round. To complement this, we’ve installed the energy-efficient Adelco Ecotex tunnel dryer—one of the best in the industry. It not only reduces our carbon footprint but even lowers ambient workshop heat, especially noticeable during the colder months.
Smart waste solutions
Minimising landfill waste is a priority for us. General waste is converted into energy locally, and we recycle all unused packaging. Hazardous materials like glue cans are safely processed, and our automated screen-cleaning system keeps chemicals contained and responsibly managed. We even give misprinted garments a second life as test prints or reusable rags.
Water-saving technology
Thanks to our advanced screen developing and cleaning equipment, we've slashed water usage by 50%. This substantial reduction supports our goal of responsible water stewardship—an often-overlooked but critical aspect of sustainable garment printing.
Sustainable clothing choices
We proudly partner with industry leaders like Stanley/Stella and Continental Clothing Company to supply garments that are organic, Fairtrade-certified, and ethically produced. These products come with trusted labels such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX®, and the Carbon Reduction Label, ensuring quality and environmental integrity from cotton farm to final product.
